I want Phil Harris to be my dad. He's so facking awesome, I can barely stand it. I'd settle for favorite uncle if he didn't want to be my dad. Have I ever mentioned how much I love Deadliest Catch? Because I do.
I was watching reruns the other night, and talking to the tv, while Marty made fun of me. I'm not going to stop talking to the tv. Especially when Deadliest Catch is on. I'm sorry, but I'm just not.

I secretly am attracted to Sig Hansen.
I couldn't get through an NFL season if I didn't talk to the TV.
I would also go with uncle for Phil Harris. You get the fun benefits without the expectation that you'll be out in the ocean taking over the family business as soon as you can walk.
I admit it. I'm a Deadliest Catch fan. Phil would indeed make a great uncle, but personally, I think Edgar Hansen would be more fun to sit and have a beer or forty with. As long as he didn't start biting the heads off herrings.

My fantasy Uncle would be Hugh from Ice Road Truckers. He kicks major ass. I would love to be his favorite niece, and hang out with him in the tundra, drinking beers.
Deadliest Catch is some good stuff. But I admit I watch it mostly because the narration is that of Mike Rowe and I have a not-so-secret crush on him. *swoon*
I thought I was the only Phil lover out there.
