All geeked out about The WB

I used to regularly watch the following WB shows:

(in order of importance to me)
Gilmore Girls
Charmed
Felicity
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Everwood
Smallville
Popular

I was legitimately sad when all of these series ended. By sad, I mean I cried (alot) during the series finales. I'm not apologizing for this. In my opinion, they were all great shows. I will also note that I didn't have much of a life at the time (thanks to the ex-husband, house & dog). Nowadays, I'm lucky if I have time to catch the evening news.

Take that, OPB.

Right there you nerfed your geek cred. If you put Buffy and Smallville at the top of the list, you'd have more cred.

But the Gilmore Girls? My super-fashion-conscious sister in law gets geeked about the Gilmore Girls. There were TiVo arguments in their house--Gilmore Girls or some Poker show. Gilmore Girls always won.

I never watched more than a full episode of charmed, nor have I watched too much of Smallville.

Any podcasts? Magazines? Old episodes recorded on to some sort of media? Somewhere in my storage unit, I have the Buffy Musical on VHS...

I don't watch much TV either--except on DVD--but the shows I geek over are really, really geeky. Hell, I even listen to some of the Podcasts to those shows.

Is this the best you can do?

I must agree with PB, Gilmore Girls really softens the whole list. Everyone watched that show.

Well, everyone with ovaries.

So, last night, I'm at the bar, and we start talking about The WB. I confess that I used to watch Charmed and Buffy regularly. Theresa exclaimed, "Wow, you're a big nerd!"
